Sometimes people choose not to do that extra 20 minutes of work to verify or fix something. That often leads to either themselves or somebody else (usually somebody else) having to spend a disproportionate amount of time trying to figure out what that person did (or didn’t do) so that the resulting problem can be fixed.

That’s what I’ve done this week. (The fixing, not the first part)

By some serendipitous stroke of genius, The Onion ran a story today about the Department of Evil’s recent press conference outlining their plan for killing everybody. Nothing like a little evil-humor to take one’s mind off of stupidity!
